Computer generated images of plates do the job but some number plates are appreciated better in real life.

Particularly if you have a car specific number plate to sell- picture uploading means that potential buyers of your plate can get a better feel for how it will look on their car.

Why upload a picture?

Adverts with pictures stand out in search results with a small camera icon for starters- this will make your advert far more visible to searchers.

A good picture of a numberplate will add weight to the advert and show a potential buyer what the number plate looks like in "real life"

How to upload a picture to an advert

When placing your advert you can add a picture absolutely free of charge. So long as you stay within the 1MB file size limit and use a supported file format (JPG or BMP) your picture should upload in seconds.

Changing or removing a picture

As with most other Smashing Plates features, you may remove or change the picture at any time and any number of times- without charge.

When uploading pictures to your Smashing Plates you may also wish to upload your picture to the number plate gallery- this gives you added visibility.
