RSS - really simple syndication. Basically if you subscribe to an RSS feed you will be instantly notified when any new information is published on the website to which you subscribe.

Why is RSS good?

Number plate categories all have RSS (really syndication) so a person looking for Audi number plates can elect to receive notifications of future adverts placed in the category.

A great example would be someone looking for an Audi number plate. They can't find what they're looking for- so they subscribe to the RSS feed for Audi number plates.

When a new advert is placed in the Audi number plate category- they will be notified- simple!
