Whether you actually have a personalised number plate or not, it’s fair to say that every numberplate on the road has a value- of sorts.

FACT - Depending on where you advertise you will incur costs advertising your numberplate.

Even if you register with a dealer who advertises your number plate for FREE – their commission is loaded into your number plate valuation so if someone purchases your numberplate for £10k but the dealer has told you it’s worth £8k then surely that’s £2k you’ve missed out on?

The cost of advertising in the classifieds can mount up as you have to pay to relist your
advert(s) every week or month – this can chip away at the return on selling your number plate.
